Premier Boat Tours is a great way to see native wildlife on the Lake Dora Canal Tour. Leaving from the Lakeside Inn dock, this tour is informative addition to a day or vacation in Mount Dora.Posted on dippydoo10Verified Stunning Scenery Stunning Scenery galore on this great 2 hour boat tour, we were kept well informed by both Captain Mike and the lovely Chloe, they showed us many different types of birds and we even spotted a 9 ft gator on the tour. The setting was perfect and informative guides made the trip one to remember.Posted on Linda SVerified Fabulous!! Great staff and fun trip. I’ll be back with friends. This is will worth it. MT Dora is a cute little town with lots of shopping and good food. And this company has one of the best rides therePosted on Mervyn670Verified You want a really good boat cruise? This is it! We had not heard of Mount Dora until we saw it on a British tv travelogue by Allison Hammond. It looked worth visiting both for the town and the lake. It is about an hour's drive from Orlando. Free car parking was available, but tucked away behind a building. (suggestion to Premier- perhaps a sign would help).Although we hadn't booked (advisable), there were spaces on the next 2 hour cruise. We were not disappointed, in fact it was excellent. The Captain, Paul, and his 1st. Mate, Kenneth, showed exceptional knowledge of the wildlife- birds, alligators, terrapins etc. of which we saw plenty passing through the canal. There were also anecdotes about residents of the lakeside properties. It was not a huge boat, so facilities on board were fairly basic. The Head (toilet, restroom for landlubbers) was a porta-potty type, but quite adequate. Bottles of cold water were available to purchase. This was a relaxing change from the theme parks and I thoroughly recommend Premier Boat Tours. It was excellent value.Posted on Ellie MVerified Mother’s Day Magic in Mount Dora: A Scenic Cruise Adventure with Premier Boat Tours & My Girls I booked a last-minute Mother’s Day staycation in Mount Dora with my two daughters and chose Lakeside Inn for its charm and convenience—Premier Boat Tours docks right at the hotel. Originally set for a sunset cruise, we moved our reservation up due to rain, and Nick easily accommodated us. The crew was incredibly helpful with my baby’s stroller and carrier. Captain John kicked things off with humor before handing the mic to Paul, who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the area’s wildlife and history. We cruised through the lake into a scenic canal filled with birds, alligators, lush plants, and quirky yard decor from canal-front homes. It was a magical escape into nature and a hit with both me and my 12-year-old. Highly recommend!Posted on Victoria SVerified Wonderful boat tour in a beautiful Florida We took the boat tour on a lovely day in April. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water. We learned about the Florida cypress swamps, saw a few gators and even a bald eagle.
